Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Raksa Retreats. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable retreat experience. By booking a retreat with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

Raksa Retreats is operated by Mt. Meru Natives LLC, a US limited liability company, with its registered and principal office at 3729 E Farm Road 28, Fair Grove, MO 65648-8039, USA.

Your place is confirmed once we receive your required deposit or full payment.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Raksa Retreats, the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the guest's scheduled arrival. Alternative payment schedules or arrangements may be agreed with Raksa Retreats in advance and in writing. Any agreed alternative payment schedule will be stated in the booking confirmation and will form part of the booking terms. If payment is not received by the applicable due date, Raksa Retreats reserves the right to cancel your booking.

Payment plans may be offered at Raksa Retreats' discretion and must be agreed in writing. Any agreed payment schedule will be stated in the booking confirmation and will form part of the booking terms.

All participants must be at least 18 years old unless approved in writing by Raksa Retreats.

2. Currency & Pricing

All prices are listed in euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed via Wise or PayPal, and any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card provider are your responsibility. Prices are subject to change without notice, except for bookings already confirmed with a deposit.

3. Cancellation Policy

If You Cancel

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • More than 60 days before the retreat: Any remaining payments will be refunded.
  • Between 30 and 60 days before the retreat: 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Less than 30 days before the retreat: No refund will be issued.
  • A fully paid booking may be transferred to another person with the prior written approval of Raksa Retreats. The replacement guest must agree to these Terms & Conditions and provide any information reasonably required for participation. A transfer does not create any additional refund right.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

4. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Under EU consumer protection law, certain online purchases carry a 14-day cooling-off period. This right does not apply to bookings for accommodation, transport, or leisure services tied to a specific date or period of performance, such as this retreat. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply, and that the Cancellation Policy in Section 3 governs your booking instead.

5. If Raksa Retreats Cancels

In rare situations we may need to cancel or postpone a retreat due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns
  • Insufficient participant numbers
  • Other unforeseen events

If Raksa Retreats cancels a retreat, you will receive a refund of all payments made directly to Raksa Retreats.

We are not responsible for flights, visas, travel insurance, accommodation outside the retreat, or any other personal travel expenses.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is required for every guest joining a Raksa Retreat.

Your policy must include:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical expenses
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Lost luggage
  • Flight delays
  • Personal belongings
  • Personal liability
  • Adventure and extreme sports coverage

Because our retreats include activities such as Muay Thai, yoga, breathwork, calisthenics, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, boat tours, fitness training, and other outdoor adventures, you are responsible for confirming your policy specifically covers these activities before you travel. Many standard or budget policies exclude combat sports or "extreme" movement training, so please read your policy's fine print carefully.

Raksa Retreats accepts no responsibility for costs resulting from inadequate or absent insurance.

7. Health & Medical Responsibility

By booking, you confirm that:

  • You are physically and mentally able to participate.
  • You have consulted a medical professional if necessary.
  • You will inform Raksa Retreats of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medications, or dietary requirements before the retreat.
  • You understand that Raksa Retreats does not provide medical advice or treatment.
  • If your health changes before or during the retreat, you agree to notify us immediately.

8. Medical Emergencies

If you become ill or injured during the retreat and are unable to make decisions yourself, you authorize Raksa Retreats to arrange appropriate medical assistance.

Any medical treatment will be provided by independent healthcare professionals.

All medical costs remain your responsibility.

Raksa Retreats cannot guarantee the availability or quality of local medical services.

15. Alcohol & Drugs

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

16. Code of Conduct

We strive to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone.

Raksa Retreats reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest without refund if they:

  • Endanger themselves or others
  • Ignore safety instructions
  • Behave aggressively or abusively
  • Harass other participants
  • Damage property
  • Repeatedly disrupt the retreat experience
  • Engage in illegal activity

Guests removed from the retreat are responsible for their own accommodation, travel, and related expenses.

17. Water & Outdoor Activities

Water activities, hiking, and outdoor adventures carry additional risks.

Participants should only join activities they feel comfortable completing.

Life jackets, helmets, or other safety equipment must be worn whenever required.

18. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their own belongings at all times.

Raksa Retreats is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, including passports, cash, electronics, cameras, or luggage.

Raksa Retreats is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, missed flights, visa refusals, customs issues, or other travel disruptions.

20. Photography & Marketing

Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for legitimate documentation and operational purposes, subject to applicable privacy law and reasonable expectations of privacy.

Raksa Retreats will obtain appropriate consent before intentionally using an identifiable guest's image, likeness, or video for promotional or marketing purposes. Giving that consent is never a condition of attending a retreat.

21. Personal Responsibility

Each participant is responsible for their own decisions, health, wellbeing, and participation throughout the retreat.

Raksa Retreats cannot guarantee specific physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, or personal outcomes from attending the retreat.

Every participant's experience is unique.

22. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

23. Force Majeure

Raksa Retreats is not responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government actions, strikes, transportation disruptions, war, or other force majeure events.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Raksa Retreats regarding your retreat booking, and supersede any prior agreements or communications on the subject.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

26. Waiver

No failure or delay by Raksa Retreats in exercising any right under these Terms will operate as a waiver of that right.

27. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. Raksa Retreats may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

This does not affect the specific booking-transfer provision in Section 3, under which a fully paid booking may be transferred with Raksa Retreats' prior written approval.
